Hi, I'm Dreuh

My name is Andrea Rosado, I was born and raised in Miami as a first gen. Cuban-American. I've been obsessed with art and music for as long as I've been alive, drawing, painting, playing instruments and listening to music any chance I got. It wasn't until 2021 when I started producing my own songs that I considered actually sharing the stuff I was creating. 

I graduated from FIU with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Art. Along with my love of music and art, I have loved learning about the mind and the intricacies of the human experience, hence my desire to pursue psychology. I believe the act of being creative is integral to the human experience. Expressing ones personal account of their individual experience through these abstract fundamentals of life - sounds, colors and shapes - is not only insightful when studying history, culture and the human psyche; it is healing. 

I have tons of sketchbooks and projects/portfolios that I've worked on both for myself and for school over the years that I've never really shared. It's my hope that as I begin to share current and past works (both music and art) they will reach the people they were meant for. 

Most of the things I create have little planning involved. Often I find myself scribbling and doodling or strumming and humming random nonsense, allowing the present to take me where it wants. Usually, when I let it take me far enough, the senselessness starts making more sense. 

And that feels pretty fuckin dope.
